Just getting my paws wet.

This is my first blog post and it is going to be short and sweet. I am excited to offer local boarding and daycare options because I know there is a huge need. In Clinton Missouri, that I know of, I am the only private in-home licensed pet care facility. I am looking forward to experiencing growing pains and I ask you all to be patient with me as I work out all of the kinks. I would like to give a huge shout-out to those who have helped Dalmatia BnB, LLC become a reality:

  • My kids Patience, Jacob, and Caleb have helped me construct, design, assemble, and disassemble parts and pieces and help me clean the house and yard, and for always loving and caring for the pets we have in our home. Mostly, for allowing me to use our home to do the work I love. The pets that come to Dalmatia can expect an abundance of love and attention from these guys and their friends who visit.

  • David, Crumb's daddy. Crumb was my first repeat doggy and without David's encouragement and support, I wouldn't even have designed this website. He is probably looking it over for me right now. Lol.

  • My veterinarian Terry Mitchell of Golden Valley Animal Hospital who has taken great care of my pets for years and encouraged my boarding business from the start by offering to place my business cards on his front counter. Making appointments for my pets there has always been a breeze and his staff just adore the Dalmatians.

  • My veterinarian Dr. Johnson at Quad County Veterinary Clinic for inspecting my home, jumping on board to prepare and assist with new Dalmatian puppies; on site, and for professional guidance on vaccination schedules, space requirements, and more.

  • Clinton Animal Shelter for helping advertise my small business and giving me an outlet to be socially responsible and give back to our community. For all the love, hard work, and sacrifice they provide to those animals in dire need.

  • Most recently, I had the opportunity to visit The Dog Groomer here in Clinton where you can bathe your dog with their supplies at a fair price. I'm thanking them for their support in things yet to come, things that have yet to be announced.

  • The very helpful mentoring and oversight I have received from the breeders I purchased my Dalmatians from. Juliet Price was born at Timeless Canines in Louisville, Kentucky. Oreo Price was born at Bluegrass Dalmatians in Lexington, Kentucky.

  • Amy Gibbs, owner of Mutts, Manners, and more for training Oreo and helping him achieve his AKC Good Canine Citizen Certificate.

  • The Rosie Network for the free entrepreneurship training and networking opportunities.

  • Lastly, I would like to thank my friend Jennifer who boards dogs locally. She has been my backup and friend since I began boarding. I recommend my clients to her when I'm not available. I board my pets with her.

I would like to give a huge recommendation for this amazing lady. While I do not own any dogs of my own, I have been to Rebecca's many times and watched her as she is giving loving care to all the dogs in her care. She has a natural connection with each animal, and treats each dog with the same love and care as she does her own children. S.
