Welcome to Dalmatia BnB, where we believe every dog has the potential to be a well-mannered member of society! Our Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program is designed to help your furry friend master essential skills, ensuring they are polite, confident, and a joy to be around.
What is the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Program?
The CGC program, developed by the American Kennel Club (AKC), is a nationally recognized training program that promotes responsible dog ownership and encourages the training of well-mannered dogs. This program is open to all dogs, purebred or mixed breed, and focuses on basic obedience and good manners.

What Does the CGC Test Include?
The CGC test consists of 10 practical skills that demonstrate your dog's ability to behave well in various situations:
Accepting a friendly stranger
Sitting politely for petting
Appearance and grooming
Out for a walk (loose lead)
Walking through a crowd
Sit and down on command, and staying in place
Coming when called
Reaction to another dog
Reaction to distractions
Supervised separation
Our expert trainer at Dalmatia BnB uses engaging activities and fun games to make learning enjoyable for both you and your dog. By the end of our CGC training program, your dog will be well-prepared to take the CGC test and become a proud Canine Good Citizen.

What Does the Advanced Training Class Include?
Our advanced training class includes the following essential skills:
CGC Training: Building on the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program.
Advanced Recall: Ensuring your puppy reliably comes when called.
Drop It: Teaching your puppy to release objects on command.
Leave It: Training your puppy to ignore distractions and leave items alone.
Sit/Down Stay: Enhancing your puppy's ability to stay in a sit or down position until released.
Off-Leash Heeling: Teaching your puppy to walk politely by your side without a leash.
Advanced Place: Training your puppy to go to a designated spot and stay there.
Learn in a group setting the basics of dog training.
